To be eligible for a CDL you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Texas driver’s license and pass a D.O.T Physical Exam. We will schedule your dot physical exam appointment at our academy.

On day one of your academy visit we will assign you a username and password to our online training portal so you can complete the required 35 chapter videos and then complete your ELDT portion. A certificate of completion will be given to you

After completing your entry level driver training portion from I Just Got My CDL Academy , we will schedule an appointment for you, with DPS to take the 4 required multiple choice tests:  Texas Special Requirements, General Knowledge, Combination Vehicles, and Air Brakes. You must obtain a score of 80+ on each test to receive the CLP.

I Just Got My  CDL Academy will train you for two straight weeks in order for you to pass your Road Test. We will work with you on Pre-Trip Inspection , straight backing , offset backing, parallel parking, and public road driving.
